Toledo, Ohio based drinkware brand Egads is looking for guys with the power to stop scrolls with just their charm and pecs. We’re teaming up with Vanity Studios, and I guess you could say we're looking to set THIRST TRAPS.

Who is an Egads Guy?

An Egads Guy is confident and sexy AF, with a friendly, down-to-earth personality to boot.

He’s not shy about taking off his shirt and he’s even comfortable stripping down to his undies for tasteful, fun marketing photos. He doesn't take himself too seriously and is always down for a good collaboration.

He’s also cool with promoting a local LGBTQ+ small business.

Previous modeling experience is a huge plus! But we're also willing to work with new talent as well.

Industry male model standards are:

• Age: 21-35
• Height: 6’-6’4”
• Clothing size: M or L
• Body type: Visible muscle tone and abs

If you fit this criteria, first off, congrats on hitting the genetic lottery and working on your fitness!

Yeah, neither do we! But we still want to hear from you! We’re a body-positive company, so we celebrate all our different human forms, ages and sizes. As long as you’re comfortable showing skin and being sexy in front of the camera, that’s all that really matters to us.

Give it a shot! We plan to do more photo shoots like this, so even if you're not selected for this first shoot, there will be more opportunities to come. Egads Guys are diverse in their identities and their appeal.

What can you expect?

You’ll be working with an easy-going crew of creative professionals with decades of combined experience in their respective fields. We’re good folks who will do everything we can to make you comfortable so you can shine on set. 

Egads will be using these images and short form videos for digital ads, social media posts and print marketing, like calendars and post cards. We'll also be capturing some informal behind-the-scenes video content at both the casting call and photo shoots.

Casting Call

During castings, we'll get to know each other a bit, then ask you to pose shirtless for front-facing and profile “Polaroids.” Plus, we'll take your measurements for wardrobe considerations. 

We're holding our casting call from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 15 at Vanity Studios in Maumee, Ohio. If selected, we'll schedule you a 15-20-minute slot during that time range. We plan to notify those selected to join the casting call by Wednesday, July 12.

Photo/Short Form Video Shoots

Those selected for photo shoot(s) will be modeling several different outfits/personas, while posing with Egads’ refreshingly retro drinking glasses. 

Hair and make-up will be provided, along with wardrobe and styling. We may also ask you to bring some supplemental shoes and clothing items for additional options.

We'll be holding our photo shoots on two evenings at Vanity Studios:

• 6-9 p.m. on Friday, July 21 
• 6-9 p.m. on Monday, July 24 

Photo shoot models will be compensated $250 for their time and collaboration. A signed model release form and W9 tax document is required for payment.

Please note: Castings and photo shoots are closed sets, which means additional people may not attend – only the creative team and models will be permitted on location.
